This is the first site I created way back in 2005. I was new to the internet then, and someone sent me a link to a "blog." I clicked on the link she sent and was taken to a very interesting web site or, um, a "blog." As I looked it all over, I noticed way up in the right-hand corner an orange button that said, "Create your own blog."
I had no idea what a blog was, except that I liked the one I was looking at. So with a bit of trepidation I clicked on the orange button. And the rest is history.
Blogspot was new back then, and the templates were primitive. I realized I would have to learn some HTML if I wanted to have control over the way it would look. HTML is the code that makes up the template. So with one hand in the Lord's hand, I ventured out and spent the next several years learning how to design a web site.
This site holds a special place in my heart because it's where it all began. I had no one to ask questions of, questions like "how do you add a space above this gadget?" Tons and tons of questions like that and it took years of exhaustive continuous experimentation until I knew enough and had enough success to swallow hard and publish the blog.
Since then I've ventured into other platforms, like Wix and Wordpress, and have created sites there. I'll link to them somewhere on this site which I'm in the process of updating.
